Description
Hey everyone, finally a new series from me! Both in color and black and white, this series showcases the Biltmore Estate located in Asheville, NC. Built in 1895, it is America's largest home, a chateau, visit their website. Keep looking back here for more from the series! (I even got pictures inside the house, even though photography isn't allowed, shh!)This specific photograph was taken on a veranda outside the library area. The scenery was just exquisite and had to capture both the nature and architecture in this shot. Crits always welcome!
Cheap Automatic Canon Camera w/no focus/exposure settings
Cheap Kodak film
Scanned w/Nikon CoolScan
Color corrections made in PS CS
(yeh, still no digital camera)

it looks like a view from a castle in antasy world, really luuuv the athmosphere
i think the part that the building is dark is good, it makes you look at the view outside.

I'm thinking a levels adjustment may help this one out though...unless this was just an experiment in the relations of pos/neg space...
